Fire Roasted Mango & Peach Salsa

Do you love food? Do you love obnoxiously good food? Do you love food that’s so good that you want to run through a grocery store in a rage, tearing food down from all the aisles screaming "ANARCHY"? If not, you’re dumb. Keep reading so one day you can be not-dumb.

If so, keep reading. But first, maybe take a deep breath and restrain from that last activity.

This is my version of Peach and Mango Salsa. First, you’re welcome. Second, I say my version because I get bored and change things. Also, I love grilling. You probably haven’t noticed that, though.

Try this recipe and let the deliciousness sooth you. It is so good that you’ll want to rage but, don’t. Just….don’t.

Fire Roasted Mango & Peach Salsa

2 Ripe Mangos

3 Ripe, Yellow Peaches

½ Purple Onion, diced

1 Roma Tomato, diced

1 Handful Cilantro, chopped

1 Large Lime

1 Jalapeno, diced & seeded (optional)

Garlic Powder

Peel the mango and peaches and slice as much of the fruit off as possible, keeping it in large chunks. Over medium heat, place them on a pre-greased grill. Grill each side for about 3-5 minutes, just until they begin to char. Fire Roasted Mango & Peach Salsa

After you take the fruit off the grill, let it cool while you dice all your veggies. When they are cool enough to handle, dice the fruit and combine everything in a large bowl, stirring really well. The fruit should be soft enough to kind of tear apart on its own.

Let it sit for about 20 minutes and tear into that mess like you’re going to jail tomorrow.
