This concoction makes enough for 1 pie
Basic Pie Crust
2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
1/2 Cup Soft Butter, or vegetable oil
5 Tablespoons Milk or Water
1½ Tablespoons Granulated Sugar
This recipe makes enough for 1 pie.
Mix until it’s combined well and crumbly, food processor's actually work great for this. Work it into a ball with your spindly little hands, wrap it in wax paper and chill it in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes.
If you're using this as an actual pie crust, poke holes all over the bottom with a fork and bake at 450 (before adding your filling) until it just turns lightly golden.
